Mon Youth Progressive Organization (MYPO) is an independent youth organization that works to empower young people through leadership development, capacity building, networking, and community engagement.
It was founded in 2001 and has since worked to strengthen youth participation and leadership within Mon communities.
Vision: to build a generation of empowered and responsible young leaders who contribute to peace and sustainable community development.

MYPO plays a sigificant role in developing future youth leaders, strengthening youth organizations, promoting cooperation among young people, and supporting the preservation of Mon language and culture. It also encourages young generation to become active contributors to their communities.
It also creates opportunities for networking and cooperation among youth from different backgrounds. By brining young people together, the organization helps build friendships, encourage youth to exchange ideas, learn from one another, and work together toward common goals.
Another strength is its focus on community engagement. Rather than learning only in classrooms, paricipants are encouraged to apply their knowledge and skilld through community activities and volunteer initiatives. This helps youth understand real community needs and develop a sense of responsibility toward social develpment.
In addition, MYPO promotes awareness of Mon culture, identity, and social issues. By encouraging young people to value their heritage while developing modern leadership skills, the organization helps create a generation of informed and responsible leaders.
